Fatima is a British Libyan UX Researcher based in Toronto, working in the world of Digital Product Design by day and a Writer and Director within the Theatre, Film & TV world by night.
Their Animation film “Yuluu” was on the international festival circuit, officially selected for over twenty six festival. While their experimental short Can We Talk? won the Scene Makers award. Both films are now available to watch online.
Fatima has also performed spoken word poetry across the UK and Canada winning their first competition at the age of 15, their performances included Lovebox Festival and Edinburgh Fringe among many other stages. In addition, they joined forces with print magazine Glam Africa – one of UK’s most popular African fashion and lifestyle publication – as a contributing writer for their autumn issue.
